The Artificial Intelligence Ground Vehicle Challenge (AIGVC) is a one day competitive event designed to expand student understanding of robotics, sensors, and autonomous vehicle operation. Students participate as teams and are given their own robot that they program to autonomously navigate a maze. The three teams that develop their algorithms and navigate the maze fastest will win prizes for first, second, and third place. The AIGVC welcomes all students of all backgrounds, skill levels, and skill sets, however some programming knowledge is recommended. Proctors are available to help students throughout the event as they encounter technical challenges.
FREE breakfast and lunch, cash prizes, swag, plus information on scholarships and internships for students. The Sterling Heights Mayor will be attending, as will lots of industry and Army leaders. Students can sign up here!
